This manager's leadership style emphasizes support and empowerment, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where everyone can grow and succeed. The work setup for this role is primarily remote, allowing Systems Sales Engineers to engage directly with customers and partners in their respective territories without needing to go into the office.The role requires travel up to 30% of the time, predominantly within the territory. This travel is essential for building relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues, ensuring that you can connect and deliver solutions effectively while driving business success.This role requires candidates to reside in Cincinnati, Louisville or Dayton and will work remotely when not at customer sites.Your RoleDemonstrate Nutanix solutions' features and articulate benefits to influence customer purchasing decisions.Collaborate with sales teams to develop account plans and tailored proposals aligned with customer goals.Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, positioning as a trusted resource.Gather and communicate customer feedback to enhance Nutanix offerings and drive product improvements.Conduct proof of concept executions, including the physical setup and configuration of hardware in datacenters.Work closely with the presales team to achieve technical wins efficiently and professionally.Manage multiple projects, determine urgency, and deliver on detailed action plans to meet customer needs.Continuously strive for personal and professional development, aligning with Nutanix's core values of collaboration and innovation.What You Will Bring3 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical roleBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experienceHands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demandsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in EnglishExperience with Kubernetes and Generative AIAdvanced virtualization knowledge and/or enterprise application expertiseAbility to manage multiple projects and execute detailed action plansWork ArrangementRemote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 175,000 and USD $ 263,000 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
