Restaurant Manager (Unit Manager)

Pay or shift range: $55,000 USD to $60,000 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Description What You'll Do As a Restaurant Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure our guests receive outstanding service every visit. Key Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts Coach, develop, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards Drive guest satisfaction by resolving concerns and creating memorable experiences Monitor labor, food costs, waste, inventory, and cash controls Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts Conduct restaurant inspections and operational walk-throughs Manage ordering, inventory counts, and vendor deliveries Complete administrative duties including audits, employee documentation, and reporting Step into operational roles when needed to support the team and maintain service standards What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 2+ years of restaurant management experience Strong leadership and team development skills Experience managing labor, food costs, and operational performance Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Valid driver's license ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain) Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Experience Experience hiring, training, and developing hourly employees Strong understanding of P&L performance and cost controls Experience managing multiple shifts and high-volume operations Why Join Denny's?
