Certified Medical Assistant

About the Role:

As a Certified Medical Assistant , you will work under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting healthcare professionals with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
Collecting and processing laboratory specimens
Administering medications and injections under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional
Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records
Providing exceptional patient care and communication

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for exams and procedures
Assist with EKGs, phlebotomy, and other procedures
Maintain a clean and organized environment
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
1-2 years of experience as a medical assistant or related field
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
