Join Us in Greensboro, NC as an Industrial Pipe Welding Specialist

Picture your day: you arrive at our Greensboro facility or job site, pull up the latest isometric drawing, and plan your root, hot, and cap passes. You prep carbon and stainless pipe, confirm fit-up, and lay down clean TIG and Stick welds. You verify alignment, bevels, and gaps before striking an arc, then finish with careful inspection and touch‑ups where needed. Safety is second nature—you keep the work area orderly, follow OSHA rules, and operate torches, grinders, and welding equipment with precision.

What You'll Do

• Perform TIG, Stick, and MIG welds on industrial piping systems (carbon steel, stainless, and other alloys).
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols; follow specifications to the letter.
• Fit, align, and assemble piping components per project requirements.
• Cut, bevel, and prep pipe for high‑quality welds.
• Inspect completed welds to meet strict quality standards; rework/repair when required.
• Operate TIG welders, torches, grinders, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organized workstation and uphold OSHA and company safety practices.
• Work independently and collaborate with the crew to hit deadlines.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of pipe welding experience preferred.
• Proficient with TIG and Stick processes; experience with MIG on pipe is a plus.
• Fluent in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
• Hands‑on experience with carbon steel and stainless pipe.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and thrive in an industrial setting.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pre‑Employment & Gear

• Pass a hands‑on weld test.
• Steel‑toe boots and proper PPE required.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation & Schedule

• $25.00+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
• Weekly pay.
• Stable Monday–Friday schedule.
• Long‑term career opportunity with higher rates possible for extensive experience, relevant certifications, and strong weld test results.

Proficiencies & Tools

• Proficiency: Welding setups for production; blueprint reading.
• Primary equipment: TIG welder (plus torches, grinders, and standard hand tools).
