INVISTA is seeking a Commercial Manager to join our Propylene Team! In this high-impact role, you will shape and execute business strategies, optimize our customer portfolio and drive long-term value creation. This role requires sound commercial judgment, principled entrepreneurship, market insight and the ability to build relationships that create mutual benefit over time. You'll have the autonomy to make key commercial decisions - such as which customers to grow with, how to structure deals, and when to lock in value - while being empowered to challenge the status quo and pursue new opportunities. Leveraging your market insights and relationship-building skills, you will collaborate across functions to deliver results and foster a culture of continuous improvement, all while upholding Koch's values.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute business strategies and priorities for INVISTA's Propylene Team while optimizing the propylene customer portfolio to maximize long-term business value
• Build and maintain a point of view on propylene and propane markets through analysis of supply and demand fundamentals, competitor activity, and broader market dynamics
• Manage financial, physical inventory, pricing, and deal positions to optimize margin, manage risk, and allocate resources to the highest-value opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders while representing INVISTA as a reliable, principled partner
• Drive cross-functional alignment with supply chain, operations, finance, legal, credit, and risk teams to execute strategies and achieve business objectives
• Apply sound judgment and principled entrepreneurship in negotiations, deal structuring, and commercial decision-making
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and create additional value
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of integrity, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing, commercial strategy, business development, supply chain or market analysis, with direct accountability for business outcomes
• Understanding of commodity markets, supply chain dynamics or petrochemical fundamentals
• Experience managing customer or supplier relationships where you own the P&L, not just the coordination
• Experience using financial modeling, marginal analysis or economic frameworks to guide commercial decisions
• Experience negotiating and structuring multi-party agreements, managing trade-offs and closing deals that create mutual benefit
• Experience leveraging market, customer, and competitive insights to influence business decisions
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

• 10+ years of experience in petrochemical or oil and gas marketing
• Experience with commodities trading or managing a book of business through volatile markets
• Experience responsibly leveraging artificial intelligence tools to improve marketing effectiveness
