Position Title Maintenance Mechanic Pay Rate $33.93 - $40.39 Pay adder available for B2 Boiler License or higher Sign-on Bonus $1000 after 30 days $500 after 6 months $500 after 1 year Category/Shift Hourly Full-Time 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) 3rd shift (11pm-7am) Physical Location : Arden Hills Container 1300 Red Fox Road Arden Hills, MN 55112 Job Description We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity. Perform preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level Complete emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations Accurately use measurement and test equipment Maintain clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork Work independently as well as part of a team Follow all safety rules and practices Perform other duties as assigned by supervision Skills You Will Bring Strong mechanical skills and aptitude Strong troubleshooting skills Skilled in pneumatics, electrical, PLC, and hydraulics MN Special Engineer Boiler License or higher preferred Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices Well-rounded electrical, mechanical and machine shop skills and experience Written and verbal communication skills Ability to work overtime as needed High school diploma or equivalent Five years of maintenance experience with at least one year with the same employer Highly-qualified candidates would possess a technical degree or apprenticeship certification and maintenance experience in the corrugated industry or similar manufacturing environment The Benefits You Will Enjoy International Paper offers a benefits package that includes health, welfare and retirement plans including Medical, Dental, Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Short-term and Long-term Disability, 401(k), Company-funded retirement contributions, Paid Time Off, Education & Development (including Tuition Reimbursement), Student Loan Repayment Assistance, and Voluntary Benefits including insurance for home, auto, vision and pets International Paper is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
