Learn more about our culture and programs by clicking here. Position Summary The School Psychologist conducts psychological testing and assessment of individuals suspected of having a disability. Participates as a member of the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) and the Individualized Education Planning Team (IEPT) for individual students, as assigned by their supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Education: Michigan Department of Education School Psychologist Certification or full licensure as a School Psychologist in the State of Michigan required Experience: Completion of a 500-hour university-supervised internship and at least one year of successful experience under a Michigan-approved school psychologist Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, test administration and interpretation, and data analysis to support student evaluation and eligibility Ability to collaborate with students, families, staff, and community partners, including participation in MET/IEPT meetings and multidisciplinary teams Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare reports and communicate complex psychological data clearly Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, utilize technology effectively, and demonstrate professionalism in a school-based environment Pay Range: $47,496 - $92,683 Work Schedule: 186 Days, 7 Hours Paid Time Off: Sick and Personal Business paid time, up to 13 days Insurance: Employees are eligible for the following insurance benefits after one full day of employment: Comprehensive health plan options through Blue Cross Blue Shield - MESSA Dental and Vision Coverage (no cost to employee and qualifying family members) Life, short-term and long-term disability benefits Additional coverages; supplemental benefit options, additional life insurance and pet insurance Retirement: Two plan options through the 15th largest pension system in the United States, Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System (MPSERS) Additional Benefits: Professional Development opportunities Longevity pay after 10 years of service Why Grow With Us?
