Medical Receptionist

Title: Medical Receptionist
Length of Assignment: 3months (Possible to extend)
Location: Lexington Massachusetts 02421
Shift: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay range: $20/hr.-$24/hr. On W2
Responsibilities:
- Managing patient scheduling and appointment coordination.
- Answering multi-line phones and directing calls appropriately.
- Checking patients in and out of the office.
- Maintaining and updating patient records in Epic EMR.
- Verifying insurance and demographic information.
- Coordinating communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff.
- Handling referrals, authorizations, and medical documentation.
- Scanning, faxing, and filing medical records and forms.
- Assisting providers with administrative support tasks.
- Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Managing daily office workflow and prioritizing urgent tasks.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and timely data entry.
