Overview GARNEY A Field Engineer position is available at Garney. As a Field Engineer, you will act as the bridge between office engineers and the field team, translating information to ensure the project runs smoothly in the field. Field Engineers understand field activity and support the team to ensure success and efficiency. What You Will Be Doing You will be on the field day-to-day, ensuring that the work performed by our team and subcontractors meets engineering specifications. Other duties include handling important documents and ensuring that the correct materials are received and stored correctly. Surveying and layout of the job site. Processing and reviewing shop drawings. Updating as-built documents. Auditing completed construction. Completing daily and periodic report updates. Coordinating subcontractor work. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or another related field and is willing to travel and work the hours required to ensure the project's success.
