Required Qualifications: 2–3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience Proficiency with the Florida Courts e-Filing Portal and judicial scheduling systems Understanding of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure Demonstrated experience in drafting and filing litigation documents Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines Professional demeanor and strong client-service mindset Experience with first party property insurance litigation or insurance defense, preferred. Key Responsibilities: Draft, format, and file motions, pleadings, and discovery responses Calendar and track all deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Review trial orders and ensure compliance with all requirements and timelines Coordinate hearings and utilize judicial calendars Maintain organized case files and monitor case progression Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries Assist with trial preparation as needed Handle e-filing through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal Assist attorneys with additional litigation support tasks as assigned About Us: Based in Boca Raton, Florida, Bernstein | Polsky is a team of experienced plaintiff trial lawyers known for powerful advocacy, outstanding results, and high ethical standards.
