Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems and be able to work flexible shifts. Key responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing bakery equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment breakdowns.Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failures.Utilize electrical and mechanical knowledge to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues.Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in machine repair and maintenance.Work flexible shifts to meet operational needs.Quickly adapt to new machinery and equipment.Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all maintenance activities.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.Communicate effectively with the maintenance team and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.Position Requirements:Bilingual-Spanish. Must read, write and speak fluent Spanish and English.Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Flexibility to work a second shift and adapt to changing schedules.A desire to learn and work with various machinery and equipment.Essential Qualifications:Education: Technical degree or electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.Bilingual: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in Spanish and English.Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting.Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBilingual: 1 year (Required)Electrical experience: 2 years (Required)English (Required)Spanish (Required)Wyandanch, NY 11798 (Required)Wyandanch, NY 11798: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
