Bilingual Spanish HR generalist

We are seeking a professional and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support all aspects of the HR function. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish , possess a Bachelor's degree , and have experience in employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, and HR administration. This role will partner with management and employees to foster a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues and HR inquiries.
• Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation claims.
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with payroll processing and coordinate with payroll providers as needed.
• Support performance management, employee development, and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation.
• Assist with policy implementation and handbook updates.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
• Support disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.
• Knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or related HR certification.
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
