Title: Kindergarten Teacher Location: Cohasset Public Schools, Joseph Osgood School, Cohasset, Massachusetts Starting Date: Aug 25, 2026 Position Type: Full-time Job Description The duties commonly associated with the position include but are not limited to: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of elementary school pedagogy Knowledge of school-wide curriculum materials preferred: Bridges Math, Reader’s Workshop, Heggerty, Fundations, and Social Thinking Planning and assessment of instruction, including formal assessment instruments used by classroom teachers Planning and delivering effective instruction including small group and whole class instruction Promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement with an emphasis on the MTSS model Effective communication with students, families, and district employees Promoting equity and appreciation of diversity Familiarity with educational technology Job Requirements Appropriate MA DESE licensure SEI Endorsement preferred At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred Master’s degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work visa required Equal Opportunity Employer The Cohasset Public Schools policy of nondiscrimination shall apply to the District’s students, staff, and families, and shall extend to the District’s dealings with the general public and those with whom it does business, in accordance with applicable law.
