About the Role

We are seeking accounting professionals with strong technical accounting skills, construction or real estate experience, and the ability to take ownership of complex financial activities. Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, month-end close, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee accounting activities across multiple construction and development projects.
• Prepare and reconcile construction draws, project expenditures, and budgets.
• Handle payroll accounting, payroll reconciliations, and expense allocations.
• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and cash application.
• Monitor job costs, contracts, change orders, vendor payments, and project commitments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, audits, and project closeouts.
• Collaborate with development, construction, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting background, including GL, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Experience in construction, real estate development, or project-based accounting strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of job costing, construction draws, project budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Experience with payroll reconciliations, AR, and collections highly valued.
• Yardi Voyager experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
