About the role

We're bringing on independent sales representatives who already know the people who buy and run solar sites: owners, asset managers, EPCs, developers and O&M providers. You open the door and work the deal; our team handles the technical demos, site setup and customer support. This is a commission-only, independent contractor (1099) role built to work alongside a current job.

Pay (commission only, nothing paid before a sale)

• Full sale: 30% of the customer's first-year subscription, plus 10% of every renewal for as long as the customer stays, with at least $1,500 per closed deal
• Introduction only: 15% of the first-year subscription (minimum $500) for a meeting you set up that turns into a signed deal
• Portfolio deals (3+ sites on one contract): 25% of year one
• 10% of any setup fee and 5% of the first-year value of add-ons
• An extra $1,000 bonus on your first full sale
• Paid monthly on what the customer has paid, with no cap

What a deal can pay

• 300 MWac operating plant on Ops + SCADA + SolarEye: $10,800 in year one, then $3,600 every year it renews
• 200 MWac build on PSM Project: $18,000 in year one
• An introduction that becomes that 300 MWac plant: $5,400

What you'll do

• Find and contact solar owners, EPCs, owner's reps and O&M companies
• Run or join demos and tie PSM to each customer's real problems: progress reporting, crew time, maintenance, safety
• Quote from the published price list and get contracts signed
• Hand each new customer to our team for setup, and check in at renewal time

You're a strong fit if you have

• 2+ years in solar, electrical construction, energy O&M, or selling software or equipment to that industry
• People you can call: owners, EPCs, site managers or O&M leads
• Comfort running a demo on a phone or laptop
• The drive to work independently
