Job Description

Mancan Staffing Parma Heights is currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a company in Strongsville, OH. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting machinery, and assisting with tool building. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm (1/2 hour lunch with 1- 15 minute break)
Felon Friendly
Dress: long pants, STB or work boots required, T-shirt

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform basic maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and equipment.
Assist with building, assembling, modifying, and repairing tools and equipment.
Help identify mechanical issues and assist with determining the appropriate repairs.
Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete maintenance and assembly tasks.
Assist experienced maintenance technicians with projects, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all safety procedures and instructions.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential.
Previous industrial maintenance, machine repair, fabrication, or tool-building experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
Must be dependable, hands-on, and willing to take direction and learn new skills.
Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment and getting dirty while performing maintenance and repair work.
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools or willingness to learn.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good attendance, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic are required.

Compensation
Pay will be based on experience and skill level.
