Project Manager – Instrumentation Service Provider (ISP)

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Indianapolis, IN team and lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving industrial equipment, process instrumentation, and engineered systems. End-to-End Project Leadership

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery (planning through closeout) for ISP projects
• Ensure success across scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets
• Develop execution strategies, project plans, and resource allocation models

Technical & Engineering Oversight

• Define and validate technical scope and equipment specifications
• Review engineering documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
• Manage instrumentation systems including: valves, transmitters, analyzers; control systems and process equipment; critical manufacturing components

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Own procurement strategy and execution, including: RFQs, vendor selection, and bid analysis; contract negotiations and purchase order management
• Partner with suppliers to ensure spec accuracy, lead times, and quality standards
• Track equipment lifecycle from fabrication through delivery and installation

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

• Serve as the primary client-facing project leader
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and vendors
• Lead project meetings, reporting, and performance tracking

Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and cost impacts
• Ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory, and quality standards
• Drive improvements in project delivery and procurement processes

Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor junior project staff
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline (preferred)
• 9+ years of experience in project management for instrumentation, industrial equipment, or process systems
• Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation
• Proven experience with: vendor coordination and procurement processes; complex, multi-stakeholder project environments
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries strongly preferred

Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
