Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team situated in Jacksonville, Florida. In this vital role, you will be a key player in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey as they strive to regain their mobility and enhance their quality of life. Our state-of-the-art facility spans over 5,000 square feet, incorporating advanced sports medicine technologies and a welcoming atmosphere that prioritizes comfort and healing. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring our services are accessible and tailored to meet each patient’s needs. As part of a close-knit team of professionals, including two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will collaborate to provide the highest standards of care.

Work Environment

Working onsite at our rehabilitation center, you'll benefit from a modern workspace equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and resources, allowing you to provide high-quality care. The typical work schedule operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, encouraging a balanced lifestyle while offering ample time for personal pursuits outside of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and requirements while ensuring their unique needs are met.
• Manage a diverse caseload, treating one patient per hour, and provide individualized interventions to improve their physical capabilities.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatment plans that enhance range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Reduce patients’ dependence on medications by exploring alternative therapies and avoiding unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Craft tailored fitness and wellness programs that promote healthy living, addressing specific patient needs while motivating them through their recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and manual therapy techniques to deliver personalized care for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to create a cohesive approach to each patient’s treatment plan.
• Monitor progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and maintain thorough documentation to track improvements and adjustments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Core Motion, you will primarily work with an orthopedic patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Your role will include developing strong therapeutic relationships, promoting trust, and motivating patients at every stage of their recovery, ensuring they feel supported and understood.

Qualifications

• Earned a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid state license as a Physical Therapist, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exhibit proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid grasp of exercise protocol development.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy settings is preferred to ensure familiarity with treatment methodologies and patient needs.
• Demonstrated competency in engaging patients towards their recovery goals through innovative and compassionate care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
