Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients, including detailed history review, physical assessments, and functional analysis, followed by the documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans by interpreting evaluation results, explaining them clearly to patients and their families, and involving them in setting realistic and achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions tailored to patient needs, demonstrating proficiency in various modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care, recognizing and addressing any changes in patient conditions that may necessitate adjustments to treatment plans.
• Manage patient discharge planning effectively, ensuring appropriate follow-up care and continuity in the rehabilitation process. Document patient progress thoroughly, including daily notes, interim evaluations, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Maintain productivity benchmarks through effective time management, ensuring readiness for scheduled appointments, meetings, and community outreach activities.
• Contribute actively to departmental goals by participating in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing training sessions to enhance personal and organizational competencies.
• Foster a positive patient experience by showcasing flexibility and compassion, exercising patience and understanding to address patient needs proactively.
• Promote access to care and assist in breaking down barriers to treatment by engaging with community initiatives and utilizing CSI measurement data to inform practice improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain conditions. We prioritize a tailored approach to care that aligns with each patient's unique needs and goals, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license (DPT) in the State of Florida.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation software.
• Previous involvement in patient education and community outreach programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is USD 100,000 – 120,000, commensurate with experience. We offer an exceptional benefits package that includes:
