Key Responsibilities

• Assess, create, and implement individualized treatment plans based on the evaluations of patients referred by physicians.
• Utilize various evidence-based treatment modalities while fostering a therapeutic environment conducive to healing.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimize patient care.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and their families.
• Provide in-home therapeutic care, adapting interventions based on the patient's living environment and specific needs.
• Consult, educate, and empower patients and their caregivers regarding their treatment plans and necessary exercises.
• Meet organizational productivity goals while maintaining the quality of patient interactions and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Avecina Physical Therapy, you will engage with a diverse client base including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges and requires customized treatment plans to address specific needs, thereby allowing you to apply your expertise in various specialties and make a significant impact on their recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software.
• Ability to build effective relationships with patients, fostering trust and motivation to achieve their goals.

Preferred Experience
