Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations, using diagnostic and prognostic testing methods to inform treatment planning.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, restoring function, and maximizing performance according to each patient's unique needs.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to established care protocols and providing mentorship to enhance their skill sets.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and technological devices to facilitate recovery and educate patients on their use.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Develop and participate in care plan reviews to ensure alignment with patient goals and medical directives.
• Perform home evaluations where necessary, offering recommendations that promote patient independence in their living environment.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and prepare records including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries within the required timelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.

• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
