Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' levels of functionality by conducting thorough assessments that include muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with the standards of practice and each patient's specific needs.
• Administer manual therapeutic exercises while instructing and motivating patients in non-manual exercises and functional activities.
• Oversee physical therapy assistants, ensuring that the treatment plans are effectively executed and that patients receive high-quality care.
• Utilize various treatment modalities, such as traction, massage, and application of physical agents to enhance patient recovery.
• Evaluate patients' home environments, making recommendations to facilitate safe and effective rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, which include initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate as a key member of the interdisciplinary team, engaging in case conferences to discuss comprehensive treatment plans.
• Train patients and their families on the proper usage and care of rehabilitation devices, supporting their independence and overall health.
• Regularly monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to physicians and case managers, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Posture Perfect, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injury rehabilitation, geriatric care, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in rehabilitation.
• Current physical therapy licensure in Florida, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an acute care or home care setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Previous experience in training and supervising physical therapy assistants.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
