Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Orlando, our facility is designed to be welcoming and comprehensive, featuring state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and resources that encourage optimal healing. As an onsite team member, you will work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment where effective communication and collaboration are key components of daily operations. Weekly scheduled hours include 40 hours with some variability for weekend shifts as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing functional limitations or disabilities.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding patient care and continuity of treatment.
• Interact positively with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds, adhering to our high standards of customer service and cultural sensitivity.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify plans as needed, documenting findings in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, actively participating in staff meetings and engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Train and supervise support staff, aiding in their professional growth while managing the department's resources effectively.
• Facilitate community outreach programs to enhance public understanding of physical therapy practices.
• Document and communicate patient progress, treatment updates, and discharge planning with both patients and referring physicians.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain issues. Our patient population varies in age and cultural background, providing a rich and diverse work environment that enhances the therapeutic experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is necessary to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for all employees.

• Proficient in computer skills and word processing, which are necessary for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation settings. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and previous supervisory experience will be considered a plus, although not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
