This opportunity involves providing essential therapy services while covering an FMLA leave from August 24th to September 25th, with the possibility of extension. You’ll collaborate within welcoming school environments and work with various age groups, all while helping students reach their fullest potential.

What you bring:

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy or similar pediatric settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Flexibility in adapting to different school sites and student needs
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student caseload
• Ability to organize therapy sessions and maintain accurate records

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct therapy and support to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborating with occupational therapists and school teams to plan and implement effective interventions
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Traveling between assigned elementary, middle, and high school locations as part of your rotation
• Providing clear, timely documentation and progress updates
• Assisting in classroom modifications and adaptations to help students succeed
