Customer Service Representative - Customs Brokerage Full‑time position. Responsibilities Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system Track and trace custom files and reporting Ensure accurate and timely client billing Understand all elements of the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedure and correctly interpret this information to fulfill customers’ instructions and expectations Transfer customs declaration information from documents or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration Assist with verification of customs declaration information and its submission to the customs authority Ensure compliance at all times to regulations Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, identifying gaps, and recommending efficiency improvements Participate in AI and automation initiatives, such as: Identifying repetitive or manual tasks suitable for automation Supporting AI‑enabled tools (e.g., reporting automation, workflow optimization, data analysis support) Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process changes Analyze trends and performance data to support leadership decision‑making Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the branch to support operational initiatives Provide analytical, documentation, and administrative support as needed Qualifications Understanding of transportation documentation and terms is a plus Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results Strong desire to learn Strong interest in data analytics, AI, automation, and process improvement Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables) Familiarity with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Co‑Pilot, etc.) is a plus Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new technologies Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a professional environment Compensation The pay range is $23.50‑$25.00 per hour.
