Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility, requiring 1+ year of experience and BLS certification, with variable evening/night shift coverage.

Job Details

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (post-acute) setting with 30 beds,
• Patient population includes mild dementia and bariatric diagnoses,
• Ratios of 30 to 1 with 2 med aids or 15 to 1,
• Uses MatrixCare/Matrix point of care EMR,
• Variable shifts including 3pm-11pm and one 12-hour 7pm-7am shift weekly,
• Both 8- and 12-hour shifts available,
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required,
• 40 hours per week scheduled, with overtime available if offered,
• No on-call or call-back requirements,

Job Requirements

• LPN license required if applicable,
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Valid driver's license required for consideration,
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care to residents with mild dementia and bariatric needs in a post-acute care setting,
• Work week runs Sunday through Saturday,
• Candidates must reside within an 80-mile radius or accept a reduced local rate,
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
