Casting Operator

Casting Operator 2nd Shift Inova Staffing is seeking an experienced Casting Operator for a growing manufacturing company in Willoughby, OH. Our client is a global leader in the production of cast nylon and other high-performance engineering plastics, serving customers throughout the United States and Mexico. Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM 11:00 PM Pay: Starting at $19.00+/hour, based on experience Job Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor casting and molding equipment used to manufacture cast nylon products. Adjust machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure quality production. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications. Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to verify quality and dimensional accuracy. Prepare, clean, and maintain molds, tooling, and production equipment. Perform basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed. Complete production and maintenance records accurately. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Previous casting, molding, manufacturing, or machine operation experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and production specifications. Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Join This Company?
