Payroll Specialist

Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Specialist Location (city, state): Rockingham County, New Hampshire Pay: $80,000-85,000/ yr About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with an established organization seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join its HR team. This individual will play an important role in managing day-to-day payroll and benefits operations while serving as a resource to employees, managers, and internal stakeholders. Job Description: This position is ideal for a payroll and benefits professional who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems, and ensuring processes are handled accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will manage recurring payroll and benefits activities, maintain employee data, work with vendors, and help ensure compliance with applicable requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day payroll processing and related administrative activities. Support benefits administration, including enrollments, employee changes, deductions, and vendor coordination. Maintain accurate employee information across HR and payroll systems. Research and resolve payroll, benefits, and employee data issues. Assist with payroll-related compliance, reporting, audits, and year-end activities. Respond to employee and manager questions and provide timely resolution to issues. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support smooth payroll and benefits processes. Maintain process documentation, reports, and internal controls. Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and streamline workflows. Support additional HR and payroll projects as needed. Qualifications: 3+ years of payroll and benefits experience, globally preferred. Experience working with payroll and HRIS systems. Strong Excel and reporting skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
