Staff Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our on-site team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills , a keen eye for accuracy, and practical experience with financial reporting, tax preparation, and account reconciliations. You will manage multiple client accounts, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to enhancing financial processes. Key Responsibilities: General Ledger & Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accurate recording of transactions. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. Month-End & Year-End Close: Manage and execute month-end and year-end closing processes. Tax & Payroll Processing: Process payroll transactions and support the preparation and filing of tax returns (sales, business, and payroll taxes). Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP and other financial regulations and standards. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements. Audit Support: Assist during audits and financial reviews. Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting efforts. Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Qualifications: Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting (or a related field). Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to precision. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively.
