Staff Accountant

Artemis Solutions has partnered with a leading Medical Institute seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support core accounting functions within a growing organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with accurate financial data, supporting month-end processes, and collaborating with leadership to ensure strong financial operations. The Staff Accountant will play an important role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting reporting needs, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities while working closely with internal teams and external accounting partners. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely accounting records in accordance with established policies Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Support payroll processing and expense tracking Prepare and review basic financial reports for management Maintain organized financial documentation and audit-ready files Communicate with vendors, internal departments, and external partners as needed Provide support to CPAs and accounting partners during audits or reviews Qualifications Prior experience in an accounting or staff accountant role preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Experience in healthcare or medical environments is a plus What They Offer Competitive Salary: $55,000–$70,000 annually (based on experience) ️ Paid Time Off: Two weeks of vacation plus major holidays Join Us If you're ready to embark on a fulfilling journey with a supportive team dedicated to excellence and work-life balance, apply now to become part of our growing family at Artemis Solutions.
