POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. This role combines hands-on clinical care with leadership responsibilities on the assigned shift. The RN Charge Nurse supports resident-centered care, teamwork, and regulatory compliance in a long-term care environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting Serve as the charge nurse for the assigned shift Support and guide LPNs, TMAs, and CNAs Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care standards Support nursing leadership as directed Administrative and Support Functions (As Directed by the DON/ADON) Provides general administrative support related to nursing operations Assigned non-clinical tasks that support the delivery of nursing services Assists with documentation review, follow-up, and organization as needed Supports operational and regulatory activities as requested Participates in quality improvement and compliance activities as assigned Additional supportive or clerical tasks related to nursing services as directed

QUALIFICATIONS

Active RN license in Minnesota Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment
