About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 20 Weeks, with 13 Weeks also accepted Shift: Night or Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for, with 18 months of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required. Recent travel experience is acceptable. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand is required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (all must be active and in hand at the time of submission). Must-Have: Must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety assessments will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required. A reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. No co-worker references will be considered. Candidates with any open background cases or license hits cannot be accepted. Candidates must be nicotine-free, with drug screen results required. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The role may require floating to other units to care for patients of similar populations. There is a possibility of caring for patients on ventilators. The position offers a rotating schedule with both day and night shifts available. While the facility will attempt to honor preferred shifts, rotation may occur based on operational needs. Candidates must possess a strong background in patient care within this specialty. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are necessary prior to application. Candidates must comply with all health and safety requirements, including COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
