Customer Service/Administrative Position
Now hiring a full-time motivated customer service/administrative person with excellent phone/pc/communications/interpersonal/analytical skills. Must be dependable and interested in a long-term career. Detail oriented self-starter must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously. Some experience with the industrial and/or retail distribution channels preferred. Experience/skills are acceptable in lieu of college degree. We offer a great work environment, training, salary and competitive benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Support and grow sales via telephone, email, and customer service
• Customer service and administrative work include, but is not limited to, customer reports for order follow-up, sales reports, special quotes, stock checks etc.
• Help create and execute effective sales and marketing campaigns for our distributors and end-user customers as requested
• Occasional participation in trade shows: including booth preparation and shipping show samples/printed materials to show site
• Occasional travel to local customers within Illinois & Wisconsin and once or twice a year to a trade show.• Ability to build relationships with our distributor sales teams
Qualifications:

• Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
• Willing and able to learn new things
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to listen, ask follow-up questions and uncover customer needs
• Able to multitask and work independently on project work loads
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Bachelor's degree and ideally 1-2 years related experience or experience/skills are acceptable in lieu of college degree
Salary – starting at $60k p/a
Must live close to lake Zurich, IL - Hybrid Schedule – Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm – Wednesday & Friday from home.
