As an ER Registered Nurse, you'll assess, plan and implement and evaluate patient care during some of the most critical moments of their lives while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to clinical excellence, compassion, and community-centered care.

What You'll Do

• Serve as anadvocate for patients of all ages (ranging from neonates to geriatrics),respond to emergencies quickly and effectively and help maintain anefficient ER environment
• Performinitial patient assessments, develop and implement individualized careplans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Administermedications & IV therapy per hospital policy and with accuracy andconfidence
• Respondquickly and effectively to trauma, medical emergencies, and criticalsituations
• Coordinatenursing care and patient assignments based on acuity and staffcompetencies
• Accuratelydocument patient status, interventions and responses in the electronicmedical record
• Provideemotional support and compassionate communication to patients and familiesduring difficult moments
• Uphold thehighest standards for patient safety, infection prevention, and qualitycare

What We're Looking For

• Graduate ofan accredited School of Nursing
• CurrentAlabama RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license
• BLScertification required
• Must obtainACLS and PALS certifications within one year of hire
• TNCCpreferred
• PreviousEmergency Department experience strongly preferred
• Newgraduates with a passion for emergency medicine are encouraged to apply
