Travel Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Laurens, IA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness in a skilled nursing facility and outpatient setting, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. This assignment covers a maternity leave beginning in November and provides consistent hours and patient volume expectations. Thank you for your time and responsiveness.

Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Iowa PTA license required to start the assignment. At least 1 year of PTA clinical experience, including experience in SNF and outpatient settings. BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Experience managing caseloads consistent with 6–12 patient visits per day and meeting productivity standards. Ability to meet client productivity expectation of 85%.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with documentation systems commonly used in skilled nursing and outpatient clinics. Previous travel or per diem experience preferred.

Assignment Details Schedule: Monday through Friday. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Setting: Combined SNF and outpatient coverage. Typical daily volumes: 6–12 patient visits per day. No on-call required. Weekend coverage may be required the weekend before or after a holiday. Must be willing to float between nearby facilities in the region as needed.
