Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field as required by client.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• In licensure states, laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in hospital laboratory environments preferred.
• Experience performing diagnostic testing and analyzing clinical laboratory results preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with high-complexity testing and automated laboratory instrumentation preferred.
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: AM 8.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8.
• Location: Hershey, PA.
• Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
