About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist - Registered (Allied)

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every other weekend required | Must be available to work at least one winter holiday as needed by the department

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a pediatric acute care environment, including ICU-level care
• Float between assigned care locations as required to meet departmental needs
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient care management
• Deliver age-appropriate respiratory interventions for pediatric and neonatal patient populations
• Adhere to facility health and safety policies, including nicotine-free and vaccination requirements

Required Qualifications

• Must hold active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active Georgia state license required at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Pediatric experience required
• ICU experience required
• Must comply with facility flu vaccination policy — no exemptions (medical or religious) are accepted for flu season
• Must pass nicotine screening in addition to standard drug screen

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NICU experience preferred
• Level I Trauma center experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
