Director of Recruiting

Lead Advisor, LLC is a wealth management consulting and search firm. This role is for a client firm in Boston. The Director of Recruiting is responsible for developing and executing the firm’s advisor recruiting strategy. This role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and selecting high-quality financial advisors and experienced professionals to join the firm’s wealth management platform. The Director of Recruiting works closely with senior leadership to build a sustainable pipeline of candidates and ensure the organization attracts top talent capable of building successful advisory practices. This role blends talent acquisition, relationship development, and strategic growth planning. Key Responsibilities Advisor Recruiting Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract financial advisors, career changers, and experienced producers. Build a consistent pipeline of candidates interested in launching or transitioning to a financial advisory career. Partner with leadership to establish recruiting goals aligned with firm growth objectives. Identify potential candidates through networking, referrals, industry events, and digital recruiting platforms. Build relationships with professionals in finance, insurance, accounting, law, and business development who may be strong advisory candidates. Manage outbound recruiting efforts including targeted campaigns and referral initiatives. Candidate Evaluation Screen and evaluate candidates for entrepreneurial aptitude, business development potential, and alignment with the firm’s culture. Conduct structured interviews to assess professional background, communication skills, and long-term career fit. Guide candidates through the selection process including background checks, licensing pathways, and onboarding readiness. Recruiting Process Management Manage the end-to-end recruiting pipeline from initial contact through offer acceptance. Track recruiting metrics including candidate flow, conversion rates, and hiring outcomes. Ensure a consistent and high-quality candidate experience. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in financial services or professional services Proven ability to source and attract high-performing professionals Strong relationship-building and networking skills Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment abilities Strong organizational and pipeline management skills Preferred Experience recruiting financial advisors, insurance agents, or investment professionals Knowledge of licensing pathways (Series 6/7, Series 63/65/66, Life & Health) Experience working with entrepreneurial or commission-based career models #J-18808-Ljbffr
