Senior Tech Business Analyst: SQL & Actuarial

Role Responsibilities Requirements Management (Gathering, Define, validate, Control) Strong technical documentation – write Business requirements documents Write technical design documents User Support Interface / Initial Data Analysis Strong communication skills Vendor interface / Issue management Gather requirements from TMNAS stakeholders, manage scope and use cases, and obtain governance approvals for actuarial production job changes Roles Production Support of the actuarial production jobs and applications. Incident Management – Respond, analyze, and resolve incidents in batch and online applications that are in scope. User Support – Assist users with day‑to‑day activities, answer questions, address small research requests, create small ad hoc reports, run manual jobs, review client‑generated SQL code, and facilitate user needs with other departments. Problem Management – Analyze causes of errors, perform trend analysis to prevent future incidents, conduct root cause analysis for SEV1 and SEV2 tickets, and document RCAs. Oversight to ensure the team meets SLAs for response and resolution. Reports – Track and maintain ticket details and status. Required Skills Business Analysis Expertise: Minimum of 8+ years as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of delivering complex projects. SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and reporting. Change Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage organizational change initiatives effectively. Actuarial Knowledge (Preferred): Experience in the actuarial space is a significant plus. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
