Warehouse Logistics CoordinatorMaximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care, custody, and control of customer inventory; Accuracy (to floor and customer book); Proper utilization of information technologyCarry out the planning, coordination and control of taking cyclical inventories according to the procedure established internally and/or with the client and daily consolidate the resultsCarry out the planning, coordination and control of general inventory takings as contractually agreed with customers and/or defined internallyReconcile theoretical balances together with the clientInvestigate, document and correct the causes of inventory differencesCoordinate and control movements, inventory transactions and daily closingsKeeps monetary control of inventory differences against what was contractually agreed with the clientProvide customer service and supportOther responsibilities assigned by the Site ManagerWorking directly with vendors, issuing Purchase Orders, and ensuring accuracyInvestigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental managerBachelor's Degree preferred, High school GED required3+ years of experience in inventory control in a high volume 3PL warehouse environment in the logistics industrySAP, TMS and WMS system experience requiredPhysical ability to move and lift objects as requiredProficient with Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications - PowerPoint, Word, especially Excel with v-lookups and pivot tablesExcellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills including effective written and verbal communications skills to communicate with various levels of the organizationExcellent analytical skills and strong prioritization skillsExcellent problem-solving skills, organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to prioritize, ability to shift one's focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other dutiesAbility to build trustworthy relationships with vendors/customers, and experience with vendor managementExtremely strong customer focus with an entrenched "Can-Do" attitudeExperience / knowledge of freight processes including dispatch and inbound preferredLeadership and supervisory experienceKnowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operationsAttention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in inventory trackingThe position requires the ability to talk and hear while performing the duties of this jobThe position requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and armsThe position requires dexterity to write and use computer keyboard and mouseThis position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products, materials and supplies, up to 50 poundsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
