Job Title: Paraprofessional (Special Education / Instructional Aide)

Schedule: Full-Time
Assignment Dates: 2026–2027 School Year
Grade Levels: K–12
Position Type: Contract / Temporary

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support instructional delivery and student learning across K–12 grade levels. This role focuses on assisting teachers in providing individualized support, promoting student engagement, and helping maintain a structured, inclusive classroom environment.

Primary Duties:

Assist the classroom teacher in delivering instructional activities and lessons
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs
Reinforce academic concepts and assist with skill development as directed by the teacher
Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodations
Help maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Assist with classroom management and student behavior support
Monitor student progress and report observations to the teacher
Support daily classroom routines, transitions, and organizational tasks
Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other school staff

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
Paraprofessional certification or ability to obtain certification as required by state or district
Experience working with children or individuals with diverse learning needs preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with a team
Patience, flexibility, and a supportive attitude
