Valuation Analyst

Overview Associate – Valuations | BRG. This is a full-time Associate-level role at BRG. BRG is a global consulting firm that combines world-leading academic credentials with world-tested business expertise to provide services across economics, disputes, investigations, corporate finance, and performance improvement. This role is crucial for delivering specialized valuation services that support critical transaction opinions, portfolio valuations, tax and financial reporting, litigation, and special situations, directly assisting leading hedge funds, private equity funds, and corporations with complex financial insights. Responsibilities Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments. Analyze historical and projected financial information, leveraging financial and market data software platforms. Research and develop a view on the competitive advantages and disadvantages of clients within their respective industries. Communicate project status and results both internally and externally, demonstrating strong report writing skills. Participate in BRG’s business development activities, including client meetings and presentations, to expand professional networks. Qualifications Background: A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another related field of study. Experience: One to two years’ prior valuation experience, preferably with an accounting firm or national valuation firm. Skills: Strong financial modeling capabilities, valuation-related technical competencies, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to organize large data sets.
