Territory Service Sales Representative

Job Summary FleetPride is the largest after‑market distributor of heavy‑duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. The Outside Sales Representative will manage and grow core account customers within a service center area, delivering world‑class customer experience to maximize retention and revenue. Duties & Responsibilities Drive revenue growth by identifying repair opportunities across core, non‑core, and new prospective clients. Collaborate with customers to develop tailored solutions that align with FleetPride’s offerings. Work closely with each core account to meet or exceed sales growth targets. Develop and implement strategic account plans with service center leadership, outlining opportunities and milestones. Prospect and onboard new customers to the FleetPride network. Analyze customer data to identify trends, track progress, and make informed decisions to drive growth and retention. Monitor KPIs for each core account, such as revenue growth, retention rates, and category expansion. Collaborate with service center leadership on account performance, pipeline management, and strategy to support financial targets. Serve as the primary contact for the service centers’ sales functions. Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders within core accounts. Facilitate regular customer engagements through on‑site visits and sales calls to ensure satisfaction and alignment. Implement retention strategies, monitor account health, identify additional repair opportunities, and proactively address churn risks. Address and resolve customer issues or challenges in a timely, effective manner. Utilize FleetPride’s CRM to track account activities, customer interactions, and key data points. Maintain accuracy of customer data, regularly updating contact details, address, and opportunities. Collaborate with service center team members to ensure seamless customer experience and alignment across departments. Coordinate with service center leadership to align core account management strategies with broader business objectives. Continuously improve core account management processes, customer experience, and results. Attend team huddles, safety meetings, and stay informed about industry trends. Education & Training High School Diploma (or GED or equivalent certification). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Knowledge & Experience 1 year of B2B sales experience (preferred). Understanding of heavy‑duty parts and service industry (preferred). Demonstrated mechanical inclination and interest in the industry. Strong professionalism, credibility, and interpersonal skills. Technology Experience Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience with CRM utilization (preferred). Experience with Power BI utilization (preferred). Skills & Abilities Active Listening – ask probing questions, request clarification, paraphrase. Sales Acumen – navigate the sales process to secure transactions and long‑term relationships. Judgment & Decision Making – adjust priorities and ensure successful deployments. Computer skills – learn new programs to improve performance; intermediate to advanced MS Office knowledge. Communicating – convey information effectively. Active Learning – apply new information to current and future problem solving. Critical Thinking – use logic and reasoning to evaluate solutions. Collaboration – work with multiple departments to meet deadlines. Oral Expression – communicate ideas verbally. Written Expression – communicate ideas in writing. Problem Sensitivity – detect when things may go wrong. Working Conditions The role involves dynamic and varied environments, including the service center/warehouse and customer sites. Physical Demands Lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, occasional heavier items. Travel up to 80% of the role, including driving or flying. Requires reading, interpreting documents, and communicating. Mobility in various settings, including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, stooping. Exposure to industrial environments with noise, dust, etc.; appropriate PPE may be required.
