Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately assess clients’ trauma backgrounds and inform appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our practice revolves around clients affected by various forms of trauma. You will engage with individuals displaying symptoms of PTSD, those with complex trauma backgrounds, and those confronting dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in trauma treatment, is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches is essential.

• Demonstrated experience administering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an essential compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations, demonstrating emotional resilience.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with experience in teletherapy environments or additional certifications in trauma-focused modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
