This remote position allows mental health professionals to engage with clients from the comfort of their homes while ensuring optimal work-life balance. Our outpatient office setting retains a collaborative culture, with team meetings and case conferences held virtually. Flexibility is also integral to our approach; while working hours are set for Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some adjustment in scheduling might be necessary to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough culturally sensitive mental health assessments to effectively understand and address each patient’s unique experiences.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs while considering cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at tackling diverse mental health concerns and nurturing resilience among patients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation strategies as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources in their communities, enhancing their understanding and engagement.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation complying with legal and ethical standards as well as organizational policies.

• Actively participate in case conferences and ongoing training sessions focused on cultural competency to enhance service delivery.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices pertaining to mental health therapy, focusing on relevant cultural considerations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and effective, evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy within a culturally inclusive framework.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits\n
