Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand patients' unique experiences and inform effective treatment planning.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual needs of each patient, considering their cultural context and personal circumstances.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a range of mental health concerns and promoting resilience and personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other essential professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care and well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support to patients facing acute mental health challenges or emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and ethically compliant documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Actively engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training focused on cultural competency and best practices in mental health.

• Stay abreast of current research and developments in the field of mental health therapy to continually enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.

• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methods, and the importance of cultural competence in therapy.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive therapeutic methods.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills and an ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with a diverse patient base.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Commitment to adhering to professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and establishing professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in mental health counseling or therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
