Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate with clients to identify their unique needs, issues, and therapeutic goals, subsequently formulating individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions that address varied mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and rebuilding trust.

• Regularly evaluate and update treatment plans based on clients’ progress, ensuring treatment remains relevant to their changing needs.

• Maintain meticulous notes documenting assessments, progress, treatment plans, and other client interactions.

• Engage in effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals for holistic client care.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to clients in acute distress.

• Stay informed of the latest research and methodologies in marriage and family therapy to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Participate in routine training and continuing education to further professional development.

• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, safeguarding client confidentiality, and adhering to legal obligations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will address a vast spectrum of mental health issues, ensuring that treatment is personalized and rooted in evidence-based practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active LMFT licensure in Virginia, obtained through the State Board.
\n
• Proven experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy, showcasing your ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Demonstrated skills in developing, documenting, and adjusting treatment plans based on client assessments.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, alongside familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually.
