Work Environment\n

This position operates entirely in a remote telehealth setting, ensuring flexibility and convenience for both our counselors and clients. Our workweek spans Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional scheduling flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. You will leverage cutting-edge telehealth technology to deliver seamless therapy sessions, enhancing accessibility for our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Implement therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address clients’ unique mental health needs.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Engage in case consultations and peer review sessions, contributing to the continuous improvement of our therapeutic approaches.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Firefly, you will serve a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, and other emotional difficulties. Your role is crucial in providing them with effective coping strategies and support during their pathways to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A holder of a Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist within the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of solution-focused psychotherapy treatments tailored to diverse client needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
