Join EY and help to build a better working world.The opportunityWe are seeking a Rule Coding specialist to support investment compliance implementations across leading OMS platforms including Charles River (CRD), Aladdin, and Sentinel. This role focuses on translating complex investment guidelines into system-enforced compliance rules and ensuring accurate implementation across asset classes and client account types.Your key responsibilitiesInterpret investment guidelines and regulatory requirements and translate them into system-based compliance rulesConfigure, code, and validate compliance rules across OMS platforms (CRD, Aladdin, Sentinel)Review rule logic to ensure alignment with guideline intent and expected functionalityPerform testing and validation of compliance rules, including exception and breach analysisSupport account onboarding, compliance audits, and rule certification activitiesWork across equities, fixed income, and derivatives asset classes and account types (Retail, Institutional, Private Client)Partner with compliance officers, portfolio managers, and technology teams to refine rule logicSupport SIT/UAT cycles, defect resolution, and production validationTo qualify for the role, you must haveBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in investment compliance rule coding, testing, or implementationHands-on experience working with OMS platforms (CRD, Aladdin, Sentinel)Strong experience across equities, fixed income, and/or derivativesExperience interpreting investment guideline language and translating into coded rulesNice to haveExperience with guideline audits, compliance reviews, or account onboarding processesFamiliarity with compliance breach analysis and remediation workflowsExposure to multi-asset portfolio compliance frameworksWhat we look forStrong ability to bridge business rules and technical implementationAttention to detail in validating rule logic and identifying edge casesComfort operating in client-facing, fast-paced implementation environmentsWhat we offer youAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,500 to $187,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
