Job Summary:
The Neuro Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a neuro-acute unit within a healthcare facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, infections, tumors, and neuro trauma. The RN will work night shifts, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a Magnet-designated organization known for excellence in neurological nursing.

Job Details:

• Location: Springfield, MA
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Float Requirements: No
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of neuroscience experience preferred, BLS (AHA) certification required, NIHSS certification required annually, 5 stroke-based CEUs required annually.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuroscience experience is highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit consists of 37 beds and manages cases including stroke, seizure/epilepsy, spinal cord injury/infections, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuro trauma. Nurse to patient ratio is approximately 1:6. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to support complex neurological care and be committed to safety and excellence in patient outcomes.
